Often, people underestimate the importance of professional makeup for photography. Honestly, you will be doing yourself a huge disservice by not using a makeup artist for your shoot. There are so many "tricks of the trade" that need to be taken into consideration when being photographed. It is my job to know how the makeup is going to translate to the camera. Almost all professional photographers & modeling agencies will recommend that you use a makeup artist for your shoot because it really does play an essential role in the process. In the grand scheme of things, it does not add much to the price of the photo shoot. It does, however, add a tremendous amount of quality to your final product.
